I’m needing, I’m wanting
There is something about you
I need to know more of.
When I fall on my knees,
Attend my prayer Oh God.
Take me beyond the veil, Give me more of you, you
And if it’s not too much to ask,
I wanna deeper relationship with you.
I want the oil of God to flow in me,
Through and through.
Here I am!
On bended knees
With out stretched arms, cryin’ Lord
Not my will, but your will
Less of me and more of you!
Why does it Minister to You: The song reminds us that we need more of him and less of ourselves. We must have him. We can’t do it alone.

Above all, my brothers, do not swear–not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, or you will be condemned. (James 5:12)

Recently I was invited to attend a women’s fellowship service. It was great. We each had to identify one thing about us that was or is an issue that we basically needed to work on within ourselves. One of my things that immediately popped in my head was my mouth. As I said it, it was like a loud bang went off in my head.
I realized I needed to do inventory on my tongue. I knew the Lord had agreed with my assessment because I was listening to Joyce Meyer’s sometime after that service. She recited a part of James 5:12 (“Let your Yes be yes, and your No, no”). Boom! There it was again the loud bang. Have you ever had an epiphany? A moment of sudden and great revelation.
That loud bang was conviction. God will show you yourself through others.
Apparently, the Lord wants me to have a mouth make over. I know I am a chatty Kathy. I can just ramble on about nothing when I am in a talkative mood or feel very strongly about something and I just have to talk about it. With everybody? Everyone doesn’t need to know how I feel about everything. God may give you insight. But he wants you to speak what and when He tells you to, and when there is a need to speak, in the words of Matthew Henry’s Commentary, we must make sure to
With the 4th of July comes fireworks displays and in some places, you can even have your own fireworks. In our city, fireworks are against the law, but there are certain ones you can have. Sparklers and pop snappers are two of the ones that are legal in our city.
My husband and our youngest son love to play tricks on me. I’m not sure if it’s the fact they like to tease me or if it’s a matter of listening to me whine. LOL
We bought a box of pop snappers for our boys. On Sunday morning our youngest and my husband decided they were going to play a prank on me. They put a pop snapper under the toilet seat and waited for me to go to the bathroom.
When I sat down it scared me so bad that I screamed and then hollered at our youngest sons name. Why I hollered at him is beyond me, but that’s what came out.
Needless to say we had a good laugh for several hours. He is still talking about it several days later. When you live in a house full of boys, you must deal with these types of things on a regular basis. Thankfully God has given me a sense of humor and a heart to deal with these types of things.
The picture below is what a pop snapper looks like and if you click on it; you will see a video that shows you what they do. This will help you understand why I screamed when I sat down. Enjoy!

Lyrics: My Jesus, My Savior. Lord there is none like You. All of my days, I want to praise. The wonders of Your mighty Love. My comfort, my shelter. Tower of refuge and strength. Let every breathe, all that I am. Never cease to worship You.
Why Does It Minister to You?: We sing it in our worship service. It makes me feel a sense of relief and a weight has been lifted from shoulders whenever I hear it. No matter what is going on in my life I know that the Lord is with me all the days of my life. He comforts me when things are bad and he is my shelter during the rough times. He is my strength and he is the one that keeps me going all the days of my life.

I once heard someone say, “Be very careful for what you pray for, you might just get it”.
Amen, Amen & Amen…
Lord knows I can relate. His word is so true.
Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord ;and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (KJV)
Daily, I find myself in awe at what the Lord is doing in my life. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed I don’t know if I’m coming or going. (can you relate?) On those occasions I have to remind myself that successful people do not do everything themselves. They are surrounded by people with many talents and gifts.
If you are overwhelmed take a moment and look around you. Do you see anyone that can assist you? Start delegating. God has given you a vision but you can’t do it alone. Ask for help.
