So He Cheated Book Signing

Published by admin under Intro's

So He Cheated, Now What?

Twenty four years ago a high wired teenager declared to her cousin that she would one day write a book.

Today it is a reality. That teenager was me.

On Saturday we will celebrate the release of my book entitled, “So He Cheated, Now What?” Adultery is not uncommon; it happens everyday. Contrary to what people believe, most women stay after the affair, they just don’t talk about it. This book will help you deal with who’s to blame and provide action steps to take if you decide to stay. We must stop sweeping issues under the rug. They must be dealt with in order for true healing to begin.

If you are in the area, I would love for you to join me as we celebrate the release of the book, “So He Cheated, Now What?” Click here for more information.

Stay Blessed,

Social Media @ the Beach

Published by admin under Uncategorized

Yesterday I attended the http://www.socialmediabeach.com/ conference in Virginia Beach.
I was a bit late because my 5 yr old had a basketball game and the referee was late. Attending my 5 yr old’s game was very important to me and my daughter was thrilled ( and she made a shot ). With that said, I missed the main presentation from keynote speaker, Jeff Turner ( @respres ), Real Estate Shows Founder & Advisor for Social  Media Marketing Institute.
.
Other attendees raved about his expertise and social media tips shared in his presentation.

The conference went from idea to implementation in just a few months. It was something for everyone. From the person that has never used social media to the advanced social media user. Something to learn for all.

Tips for begineers were given by CEO & Business Coach Fredrick West and Realtor, Cathy Kahn.
They shared the 11 rules of social etiquette. A few are listed below.

1. Give More Than You Receive
2. Remember the 80/20 rule
3. Listen to Others
4. Don’t sabatoge others efforts
5. Be Nice

@JustinSMV  & @Lori_SMC were presenters for the session I  attended entitled Social Media For Your Business.

This session was extremely important to all business owners, whether you are new to social media or you’ve been around for some time. Below are a few highlights from this session.

* As a business owner you must listen, respond and create a daily plan in social media
* Brand is developed by what others say about you, not what you say
* You build relationships in social media to point your followers, clients and friends to your blog / site.
* Make sure there is a call to action on your blog / site (what do you want them to do? )

The most relevant point I took from this session was that social media is all about engagement.Without engagement, don’t bother using social media.

Nicole Newsome ( @nicnews ) Director of Public Relations with Customer Magnetism shared SEO tips with the group. Search Engine optimization is essential for your business.

Other presenters were @damienss and @RayLaUR - they focused on advanced blogging and mobile media.

Job well done ladies and gentleman. See ya at the next one.
